Default FS: 1978 Fiat 124 Spider

1978 Fiat 124 Spider

-Red exterior/tan interior & tan top
-Engine type: 1.8L 4 cylinder carburated
-RWD
-Transmission Type: 5-speed manual
-Convertable
-Mileage: 143,000 miles

The car runs okay, however it will not go into second gear (syncro may need replacing). Body is in goo condition with a few spots of minor surface rust. Undercarraige is very clean, especially for a fiat, as this car was never winter driven. Condition of the paint is good in most spots. The clear coat is flaking off on the trunk lid. The engine leaks a bit of oil, (may be a cam seal). For now though the car drives but needs some restoration. Would be a perfect parts car or project car.

Recent services.

-Fully rebuilt driveshaft. All mounts and U-joint were replaced.
-New interstate Battery
-Larger Radiator
-Electronic Starter
-Timing belt guard
-Carbs recently rejetted
-All receipts in hand since original restoration in 1995.

-This car belongs to my friend Jay so please direct questions to him at the following number.

Jay: 402-321-4076 Cell
Jay: 402-537-0238 Home

I know there probably won't be a whole lot of interest here but its worth a try. It will probably go on ebay soon.

Asking price is $1,200 or offer (believe me the price is very negotiable)

and now the pics:

Sorry about the wild turkey. I couldn't get the damn thing out of the pictures. It kind of lives at Jay's house since his mom feeds the friggin thing. For some reason the turkey loves the car and therefore it is always walking around it. Kind of funny..... :D

Oh yeah its real. That turkey gobbles when it heres an engine fire up and it also is always chasing cars down the street while trying to peck their tires. LOL

It kind of adopted my friend Jay's house as its home since Jay's mom feeds it. I can't believe it hangs out in a residential area either. It sleeps on Jay's back porch though. I really have no idea where it came from as I've never seen any other wild turkeys in the area

Where are you located, Under ur name it says NE, is that Nebraska or New England. If its New England, my dad may be interested. He already owns 2 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce and I'm sure he wouldn't mind a Fiat at that price.

Its called Walnut Creek. Its in Papillion which is a suburb of Omaha. Its pretty common to see neighborhoods like this with these mass produced houses that all look alike in the suburbs. I think that there are at least 8 neighborhoods in the Omaha area that this same builder develops.

Anyway, Double A Ron......Hope you enjoyed the Kaa add.......maybe it will sell better if I sell the Turkey for $1200 obo and when you buy the turkey, you get a free fiat

Someone buy the car and receive a free turkey dinner Best deal Ever!!
