Default axle problems in my 89 civic dx hatchback with a 90 crx hf motor and tranny

I have a 89 honda civic dx hatchback. It had a 1.5 16 valve throttle body motor in it with a four speed. I just blew it up and replaced it with a 90 1.5 crx hf motor and five speed tranny. The problem I am having is that now ths passenger side axle is to short. I have tried si, dx, and hf axles and they are all to short. I tried making the motor mount holes ovel in hopes of sliding the motor over with no luck. I tried moving the cradle and still no luck. Am i missing something any help would much appreciated thanks
