Default The Death of The Prelude

My Mom was involved in an accident with a 97 corolla on 520 near redmond just yesterday. She hit traffic and was almost stopped, while the 97 corolla behind her with two asian ladies in it decided to keep going. They hit my mom doing about 40 mph. She had tried to get out of the lane, but wasn't fast enough. They rammed her into the concrete barrier. Her airbags went off and her seat reclined all the way. Then she did a 180 degree spin and the only *completely* non damaged body parts of her car are her sunroof, driver side door and qtr panel (and the mirrors!).
They were completely at fault and we are now looking for a new car for her.
She made it out with only a little bit of soreness...

RIP 96 Prelude :<
People who dont pay attention ... *sigh*

glad she's ok. i have to tell you though, honestly, when im driving behind someone with altezzas in the afternoon, its impossible for me to tell when they're braking. those things don't light up for ****!

those asian ladies may have a valid argument.

Eww...looks painful. I'm still wondering why you bothered to blur out your plates. I don't think anyone wants to steal that thing now.

i blur the plates outta habit
also , her break lights showed up pretty wel and she had been breaking and tapping the breaks for a long time, the spoiler lights up too those girls were looking at directions and not looking at the huge line of cars that were stopped in rush hour traffic. They already admitted to fault

It looks repairable. Unless the "chassis" is bent.

glad to hear your mom is ok. it may be their fault since they rear ended her but having illegal brake lights could end up putting the blame on her.

A better question would be why would you let your mom put altezzas on her car.
