JDM h22 with LSD & hcp mounts in a del sol. i oreded Gator axles 5mm shorter. 89 style on passeger and 92 style on driver side. they are both 5mm shorter. they bind when the car turns on both sides.WTF.......... how much shorter do they need to be??????????

when i press in the clutch and take the turn they dont bind. i'm thinking it could be the lsd ..
but i want to make sure it isnt because they are still too long......

what are you guys using with lsd trannies how much shorter do they need to go?

 

I put my LSD H22A in a 98 Integra and am using (with midshaft that came with motor) 86-89 Integra outers/shafts with 92+ Lude inner joints. Depends on which mid shaft you used. You do any searching for this ? About 50 posts on this .....

 

92 accord mid shaft, 90-93 teg axles on both sides...as the car site stock height, they do not bind, but i believe if it was lowered they would bind

do you have lsd? still bind at stock height for me.

yes i'm not a noob i did. just want to make sure it aint the lsd. the car is fine on turns untill you put power to the wheels. anyone with lsd experience?

My integra is lowered (Tokico Illuminas & Eibach Pro Springs so ~1.3 - 1.5 drop) and my H22A is LSD equipped, I used 95 H22 mid-shaft, 86-89 Integra outers/shafts and 92+ inner joints and I get no binding. What side does it bind on ? (I'm guessing passenger side?)

yea passenger pretty bad. I have heard that if the lsd is not tourqe'd exact to specs it cause some shifting of the axles and make them bind as well... any truth to this? Cause it looks like my tranny has been opened from the orange tranny gasket seal. Gonna try prelude inner's to see if that helps at all.

no lsd, they dont bind either...
