I have tried to do a search but I never find anything on the cx throttle body size. Some people say all D-series are th same but just by looking at mine next to an lx I can tell there is a huge difference.

it's tiny as hell I can put it that way. Like 46-50mm if not less I'm not even joking, I swear.

I really don't know if you will be able to use LX tb on your intake matifold. I mean there is a huge huge difference.

I think you can find one big enough on the lawnmover.

 

The 93 CX throttle body is 40mm. I measured one yesterday when I noted that it was indeed smaller than a single GSXR 1000 throttle body.

 

Thanks for the reply, I was thinking it would probably be about 45mm or so. I'm not thinking of swapping one out because I know the cx is a crap motor but I have the chilton manual and I did a search but couldn't find anything so I was just wondering how small it was after seeing it next to the lx.

 

what do u guys measure? the inside? the actual size where the air runs?

 

is there a reason for the throttle body bein so small!?!? is it cuz the cx is just crappy like that? and the stock intake piping is puny too....is that some special thing the cx's have goin on?

 

CX was made for 40+ mpg, and 70 weak *** horsepower.

smal lass throttle body, its soo small a golf ball would plug it up....its quite embarrassing to look at haha

 

They are dinky as hell get a h22 one and bolt it on there. But get a d16z6 or y8 intake manifold first!!!!!!
