'96 GSR. Which is the correct Bosch platinum plug? #4201, 4227, or 4417?
i'm doin the 120k svc on my '96 gsr. it's stock except for an aem sr (exhaust comin soon). i just did a search & read a bunch of spark plug threads. i see that iridium & multi-tip spark plugs are just a waste of money, unless ur runnin high cr or power adders of sum sort. my local parts store recommends bosch platinum #4201 or platinum+4 #4417, but i saw a thread in which i think said to use #4227??? which is the correct plug for me?

screw bosch platinum
If you really want platinum, definitely stick to NGK.
But me personally, I swear by NGK coppers, BKR6E-11, only $8 for a set of 4, and they conduct better than platinum. You just have to remember to change them about every 12K-15K miles or so (every 4th or 5th oil change I guess).

Pt+4 #4417
Patrick & lots of other people say they're not as good as NGK, so next time I'll probably get NGK. But they've worked good so far.
