Default low buck beaters made into quarter mile kings, post em up!

i want to dedicate a thread to those guys on HT who bought a low buck, beat up honda and turned it into a beast of a car. im also looking to do the same, and i think a lot of guys on here who don't want to make monthly payments feel the same way.

the only qualification for this thread is that your car had to be purchased for under $5000 from the previous owner.

before and after pics would be awesome, but if you just have after shots please post em up.

here's my old trooper. i got sick and tired of the struggle going up to the slopes, ask joe how that's like running 2 cylinders on 2nd gear , so i decided to kill the "clark kent" beater and make the new and improved SUPER BEATER. the ultimate sleeper...

90 standard. even lower than a dx...

specs: 95 gsr w/ o/s ctr pistons, itr intake cam, ys1 tranny, hyper clutch 6 puck dual dia heavy duty clutch, gsr front rotors, http://www.camp1320.com semi-solid mounts, skunk2 intake mani, all converted to obd1 running a p72 xs chipped ecu while everyday on 101. o yea, and don'tforgot this is a standard running with the 4 speed shift ****...super dooper sleeper LA spec status.

i wouldn't call my car a quarter mile king but its quick, 93 dx coupe with 13 in steelies $2400. bone stock with a jdm b16. no hub caps and a dented up passenger door, i would definately call it a beater. college cost too much . ill probably put some money into it this summer, no more sleeper......well not as much of a sleeper . ill try and get some pics up. great idea for a thread.

actually edgar aka qfactor was the first one ever to do it in a ea. thats why i labeled him og. he did that swap back in like 98 or 99.

I bought the car for $1600 bone stock in August of 2002. I have no before pics, but here's how she stood last weekend.

-ITR valvetrain
-CTR cams
-Skunk 2 intake manifold, port matched to the head
-DC sports 4-1 header---> high flow cat---> Greddy SP catback
-Skunk 2 cam gears (untuned... bling bling )

TRANNY/CLUTCH:

-b17a YS1 tranny
-ITR LSD.
