I know it has happened to others, i just want to hear some stories of when, how and perhaps why. My 94 Ls with FBP has gone to hell in a matter of a years time. After 6 years of washes every other week or so and waxing to go along with it, everything was fine up until about a year to 1.5 ago. Seems like everytime i was it i lose more off the hood or roof now starting the rear deck lid. So what has everyone done? Any solutions short of painting?

You could try a real fine wetsand to remove the clear coat, then polish with a good wax.
