90-91 Crx Si Clutch onto a 88-89 Crx Si Will it work?
Yes I did a search on this but I didn't come out with anything that could answer my question. Anyways, I'm going to be buying a clutch this week for my crx si with a d16a6 and was wondering if a 90-91 crx si would fit onto a d16a6 motor years from 88-91 crx si.
Here are the specs for a single plate clutch set:
Single Plate Clutch Set. 20 spline; 22mm hub ID; 212mm disc.
Thanks in advance.

yes, they all matter.

My engine is a 89 Crx Si D16a6. Flywheel should be the same and the transmission as well. The clutch will be from a 90-91 crx si and it's brand new. Thanks

88, 89, 90+ are all different.
88 needs 88.
89 can use 90+
Talkin if flywheel/tranny the same year.
Spline = tranny input shaft
88 19 spline, 200mm clutch disc
89 20 spline, 200mm clutch disc
90+ 20 spline, 212mm clutch disc
now.. some numbers im almost 100% sure are not accurate but u can get the idea of which clutch works on what tranny/flywheel combo.
a 90 clutch will fit the 89 tranny but it will overlap the flywheel, but still works just fine.

There's also no such thing as an 89-91 transmission, there's 88, 89, 90-91
Also the CRX Si was only available in 1988, no Civic Si. Just for future reference.
