Default Accord/h22 swap axle woes......

I got an h22 swap into my 94 accord and I have had so many problems with getting the correct axle. I've tried the reman.s and the passenger side is always fine but the driver side I remember swaping out the axle three different times before one fit. I'm using the 94 Accord manual ABS axle. What I want to know is what axle are some of you using to fit this monster. The car is a 94 accord the h22 is from a 95 prelude. Thanks for any help....

With my H22 swap into my '94 Accord - I'm still using the original Accord axles. Have been for the past 3 yrs. with no problems, and they are ABS ones as well.

what car did you start out with? before doing my 98 swap, i was happy to know that because i had an EX, alot of things fit better like the axles, as you figured, as long as you have ABS or for my year, a 5-spd, everything is fine, some people who have shorter axles sometimes will spend the money and send out their axle to axle shop and extend their stock driver side if needed, usually about 1-1.5"

/\ if that question is for me, i started with a 1997 LX auto.

i had to update to the Prelude shafts (1) because of the length difference, (2) for the proper lengths, and (3) to get an intermediate shaft. the LX autos don't have it. they were ABS models, but it doesn't matter. it's more of a "beauty ring" now instead of a functional ABS ring.

i would like to get some HD axles one day (DSS, Gator, or Fidanza), but I want to know EXACTLY which ones to buy because i've heard of length issues with some.

All i can say is if you had a ex accord make sure you get a prelude rear mount with a insert. It will solve all your axle issues. I had non stop problems with axles popping out and binding with the ex rear mount. Oh and im using stock accord axles with no problems for 4 months.
