Does anyone here have first hand experiance with the power gains from going to higher compression?
Has anyone dyno'd befre and after wit hthe only mod being new (higher compression) pistons? What were the gains and how much did you increase compression by?

 

Cmon I know some of you Type R guys have higher compression then stock.

 

i think its along the lines of 3-4% overall power increase from 1 point of compression

 

Yea 3% is what most people say...but I wanted to see if anyone could confirm this.
Also I hear more torque tehn horsepower is usually seen.

all I got is my Nitrous DYNO, if I raise my compression, KABOOM!! :D

 

.....wasn't it something like 10whp for each point of compression you raise?

 

Heh..I wish! But it isnt that high.
