Default Anyone ever shave the lettering from a SOHC valve cover??

Hi just curious,
has anyone ever shaved all the lettering from their SOHC dseries valve cover,
then repainted or polished it?

Bseries guys do it often,
but those valve covers have more going on on top of them, so the effect goes kind of unnoticed.

It would be really noticeable on a sohc,

anyone have any pics?
I did a photochop of mantic6t9's old hatch's engine bay, and it looked prettynice,
i'd like to see how it looks in real life though!

thanks!
