Default Vtec engagement/backwards.....did a search

I could not find anything on this...nor have I ever heard of anything like it. Im sure most of you will say its the ecu...but it worked great in my other car. It is a P28 w/jun chip. I have no engine codes and the oil is full wiring is proper judging by the codes. It sounds and feels as if vtec is engaged until it hits the engagement point at wich it sounds like it turns off. B18c5 block/Pr3 head/gsr cams...anyone ever heard of this.

Well, if this is actually happening and it's a stock ecu, I would say your wiring for the solenoid is backwards, or otherwise grounding out when it shouldn't.
