i bought a 97 accord (2.2L) a couple of months ago and about three weeks ago the taillights started blinking all crazy. when i have my blinker on and hit the brakes the brake lights become the blinkers and they don't blink, but if i let off the brake it blinks normal. and when the headlights are on with the blinker, the taillights dim and both sides blink along with the center brake light. im thinking it might be a ground, but where? the car is completely stock, there are no burnt out bulbs, the car has never been wrecked, and it is in excellent running condition (besides the taillights).

can someone PLEASE help me with this problem before i get a ticket?

 

I would take out your taillights and check all grounds...
