How do I check CEL for an OBD1 conversion form OBD0?

Default How do I check CEL for an OBD1 conversion form OBD0?

I have an engine light on my Mini-me conversion with OBD1. How can I check what it is?

If you run pin A13 to ground, I think your CEL in your gague cluster will blink.

Thank you, there is a losse wire labeled engine light on the harness, that must be what it is for, I did not know what to do with it.

On mine, A13 is the wire that's supposed to go to the lamp itself.

D4 is the service-check connector. Ground that one & the ECU blinks the CEL. (If A13 is properly connected to the lamp.)

Maybe they're different? Which ECU do you have?

Ground the wire on pin D4. All OBD1 ECUs are the same in that respect.
