jdm front end question
i heard that the radiator support is jsut about the hood latch.. so if you decided to use a cf hood and no hood latch would you still have to weld up the radiator support? or would stuff still not fit correctly? thanks
i have seen people getho rig it so they don't change the rad support.
you don't need to change the whole thing just the upper part and the middle support. ("T") shape.
i would still change the upper part so it will look right and just incase you decide to run a hood latch later on you don't need to worry about it.

Your not clear on your question, but I'll take a shot at answering it.
The rad support connects the front end together, without it your fenders would never stay aligned among other things. If your changing the front end to JDM from USDM you will need to either, make the openings for the lights bigger or just replace the damm thing which is the right thing to do. Now if your just adding a CF hood to a USDM front, I would use the stock hood latch and then add the hood pins for extra security, but some people don't.
