Ring End gaps

First my setup:
H22A4
Darton Sleeves
Wiseco pistons (12:1 cr)
Eagle Rods
ACL Bearings
Piston to wall clearance is 0.003"

Just wondering what you guys have your top ring end gap set at? Wiseco said 0.012"-0.014".

What is the general rule of thumb...is it .003" x bore size?

I went by what my manaul said. I set of the rings about mid-spec, and I ran the top ring loose but still in spec.

Yeah, I used my Helm's. But I was also running stock pistons and rings. Not sure if that makes a difference on your setup or not.
