Default RSX Non-S to Type-S Exhaust swap????

I have a 2004 Acura RSX 5-speed and I recently learned that if you have the whole Type-S setup on a non-s it will still fit.... On clubRSX i was told by someone that said if I had a Type-S header and downpipe that my Cat-back Greddy Evo 2 would fit up fine. So without thinking it over i accepted it would work and I have my exhaust being delivered... Now that i have contemplated it I'm thinking that the exhaust would fit up onto the Cat.... If i have type-S headers and Type-S downpipe do i have to have the Type-S cat to to get it to fit up or am i going crazy and finding ways to freak myself out about the exhaust?

PLEASE HELP.... It arrives this Thursday (24th of June)

the cat and the downpipe are one piece, so you don't have to worry. as long as you use the type-s exhaust manifold and downpipe/cat, you'll be fine with your new exhaust which was originally made for the type-s.
