Default coilovers

i am about to buy these (Vaos XR III Coilovers 0-4" drop) as a gift to one of my friends for his 4th generation accord. but the thing is that i don't know anything about this coilovers. at this website that i saw them they costed about $400.
my questions are:
are these coilovers any good?
what kind of strauss can i use them with?
anyone has used them before? what do u think about them? how was the ride?
i know my friend don't like to lower his car more than 2inch and he is going to use his car for daily driving?
any help will be appriciated?

for $400? You might *** well stick to ground controls or skunk2....and they retail for only $300.

Why would you spend money on something you know nothing about? I've never heard anything near that name. Are they spring and sleeve coilovers? At that price that's high for spring and sleeves, which are horrible anyway. I'd say stay away from them

that sounds like some Taiwanese private label crap. You might run a search on google but I doubt you'll find anything. Ground control or APEXi or TEIN is the way to go......

Why not give your friend a set of sport springs instead? ~$150 or so.

i would say to pass, ive seen people with the generic type sleeve coilovers, the sleeve will either crack, perch gets loose all the time, springs have cracked also, have to end up fixing them all the time, sometimes they even damage the struts/shocks and so you end up spending even more moeny later fixing everything, funny thing is, alof of people dont even know when their cheap sleeve coilvers are bad, keep driving and drving, skunk and ground controll if your on a budget for coilvers, even seen those go bad because when you jack or put a car ona lift, and then lower it back down, unless you always have a person on each wheel to watch teh sleeve sit properly, sometimes it gets caught and it doesnt even sit right, eventough it comes with rubber riungs to keep it down, doesnt always

there is a reason why alot of companies that have those and stop making them, sleeve coilovers jsut bad idea in general

Stay away from coilovers....i have Maxspeed coilovers on my 5 gen and all they do is make lots and lots of noise. It is a very bumpy ride and again shitty popping sounds.

i don't want the car to be bouncy and not to stiff.
