Hey guys this 1999 Accord dies usually only on the first start of the day. This leads me to believe it might be the intake gasket. BUT then today it was nice out, started fine, then it got rainy and cloudy here in Milwaukee and then it didnt start. THIS makes me wonder if its something with the ignition.

Uh, how can you tell that it's the intake gasket if it died once? Did you pull a code?

 

how exactly does it die? does it start, then peter out or does it just take two starting attempts to get it going?

 

well it started by dying backng out of my driveway. then the second time it was rainy and didnt start on the first crank. the third time it did the same thing in moist weather. ign?

 

ten bucks says it's electrical... most probly ur distributor cap dat's cracked n da moisture is what's messing with ur sparks... kinda had da same prob with my old ford... trick is.. just to AVOID PUDDLES!

 

well its the first start of the day, so its not the puddles. And its fuel injected.... not an old ford by any means but yeah i know what your saying about the moisture.....
