Default How much is too much?

Just wondering what everyone's thoughts and experiences were with the strength and longevity of ITR(and Honda motors in general). How many rough downshifts(5 to 3 no revmatch for ex), launches, burnouts, redlines, tire chirps, and all the other hard driving practices before a motor/tranny just gives up?

Good question. I don't know of any with that many miles on it.

My friend had a 89 civic that he drove hard, and it had 240,000 on it before the timing belt broke, bent valves, and it cost too muh to fix it. Although he wasn't launching it, and it couldn't chirp the tires. Prelude owners might be better people to ask. They should have some hi-po hi-mileage engines in their comunity.
