im getting ready soon, in a month or so to do my b16 swap in to my crx.

i was wondering to all you out there, what the musts are to have.

im not trying to go crazy @ first, all motor too...

i was thinking standard b16, intake (use my current correct?),with header, new full catback exhaust, type r intake mani, maybe some cams/cam gear set up.

sound like a good start? what motor mounts are the best? what else should i look into with out blowing all my $.

i think im going to do it on a loan also. So i still have money to spend. im also not doing it myself, i read to many nightmares, and my car is broken/won't start threads. imma take it to a very good shop up my way in maryland. je import performance.

sounds good to me, use the search and you'll find eveything you need, buy a harness, not try to make one, hasport mounts, i put i guess 5 grandish into a car thats worth $1200

i paid $2000 for my car when i got it. but is def worth more then that.

 

change the clutch while its out... it will save you alot of time in the long run

 

Get a nice flywheel.

 

don't forget you basics--especially the head gasket, make sure its good or else buy a new one so you don't have to worry about it too long...another good one is your timing belt and of course the clutch...get the hasport mount kit if you dont want it to bang against ur hood...i spent about 1700 on my b16 including new honda timing belt, clutchmaster stage 1 clutch and other little things here and there

 

Not related but has Hasport released the H22 mount kit for the crx
