Default finished brake kit installation

well long hard day sooo hot in the garage, but it was definitely worth it, painted the hubs, centres and calipers black

I didn't go with a big break kit because for winter steelies don't fit

what kind of surface preparation did you do? What kind of paint did you use? I'm going to have to do my brakes soon, and I have some surface rust going on down there.........didn't want to take time to paint...........how long did it take you?

took me about 12 hours because some of the damn bolts were siezed

I used a wire wheel to ake the rust off and get the surface ready to paint, and just went to the local hardware store and got paint called "caliper paint" lol.....

You can also use a wire brush if you don't have a wire wheel, but expect to spend alot longer than I did here.

12 hours? ........guess I'll have to bite the bullet since I have vacation coming up. .....and I'll be using a wire brush ........oh well, thanks for the info. Wish me luck

if you have someone helping you it would probably cut the time in 1/2
