my clutch is less than a year old and the throw out bearing is gone, is there any place other than the dealer to get one?

 

I think Advance or Autozone sells the throw out bearing separate, at least that is what I remmeber when I did th eclutch on my car. Be ready to supportt the trans. when you remove the final bolts. It weighs about 70-100 pounds depending on th e model you have.

i have an extra one lying around, brand new. It came with my exedy clutch and its just lying around. If you want, i'll sell it for $25 shipped, bout half the price it would cost to buy from autozone and 1/3 of the price from the dealer. Lemme know. thanks

 

My buddy just got one from Autozone but not sure for how much...Just make sure it is an exact fit. His was maybe 1mm off and the transmission wouldn't go back on so we dremel'ed(sp?) it out a little and it works without a hitch.
