with nisei week (little tokyo showoff) approaching (entering for fun, not to compete), i figured it was time for a new look. i had a few dents i needed to fix anyway, so i figured, "why not repaint the entire car?" *my windshield is cracked and will be replaced, that is why there's a massive amount of overspray on it.

the new color = championship white. i was going to go white on red rims, as you can see, but i've since decided to sell the sprint harts and go with some gold advan RGs or gold volk gram lights (what do you guys think of the wheel/color choice?). tomorrow i should have all the prep done and may lay a clear on the parts i sprayed the base on today. and if anyone was wondering, the moldings will be black for the 'oem' look. i'll have more pics of the progress as the week passes, i'm hoping to be done by the weekend.

color choice is gonna be dope no matter the color.

championship white goes with any color wheel. gold/bronze the best IMO

eek, calm down! i was only kidding...but i did say that the moldings will be black, so evidently some of you overlooked this.

please paint the moldings, ****, i say paint the door hanldes and the lips and the hood. i think it looks a lot cleaner that way

for gold wheels

 

the moldings will be black, oem like. the handles and power folding mirrors will be painted the same color as the car. the cf hood/lip will stay cf, and the wing will be black as well...

i would have left the bottom of the bumpers black though...

 

damn it seems like everyone in h-t is good with body work.

 

i thought that your car looked good before...but now it seems as if it may look a lot better. good luck on getting it done by the weekend...post pics when it's all done.

btw: your car is the reason i'm gonna order the J's lip for my crix
