i want to make 235whp but keep it reliable how???
Low boost small turbo setup is prolly your best route.
Getting 235 whp NA is going to cost you your first born child.

u dont need 235whp in a hatchcrap to run 13s. u can run 13s in a hatchcrap with a stock GSR motor.
BTW, there is no such thing as reliable when you are drag racing and beating the **** out of the car.

Trade it for a used early NSX.

You can be reliable with 235, you just have to know what you're doing...and on what your definition of "reliable" is.

in all honesty.....everyone thats saying if you do more than bolt-ons be prepared to spend a LOT of money is absolutely correct. i know ive put myself quite in debt. but im doing it for the love of my car....i dont care about anything else. its like my drug...
type r stock in a 92-95 hatch will get you low 13's all day on slicks and mid to high 13's withought slicks. If you do upgrades like suspension intake exhaust header intake mani, toda cams, chip you will be in 12's without no question. but type r motor in a eg is very powerful, i have driven one and seen it its very quick for a (13.0-13.2) stock motor with intake, lowered, slicks, and 2.5" piping to a stock ls muffler. but thats with a good driver also. but all i know is its a beast and i would kill for a b18c5 in my eg with i/h/e and intake mani

235 will net you solid 11's if you're in a lighter chassis and have any idea how to shift, easily
if you want 235, you're gonna be doing a complete engine build...sleeves...bottom end..head...etc..etc..etc...
it's possible to do and be reliable...gimmie a week or two and i'll have my build posted...

I agree with bpr, if 235 reliable is your goal, low boost setup is probably your best bet.

boost: blower, turbo
allmotor: built 2L bseries, or kseries.
take your pick.
If done right, any of the above will meet your power goals.
Personally, I say do one of each and keep your stock itr motor in case you need a backup...
