are there any headgaskets that actually help seal better then stock??
Sup all,
I'm wondering if a thicker head gasket would actually seal better then a stock one? I am having problems with cylinder pressure leaking into my cooling system. The head is being re-surfaced as I type this however the block is not. This is the reason for my question. any info would help...thankyou!

you can try the Cometic ones with the firering and see if they seal better, but there is prob a prob in the block or head if your having that much of a sealing prob.

If you have a warped head or block there is not gonna be any gasket that seals fine...
I went through 2 OEM gaskets and 1 Cometic gasket for turbo/NOS and i still blew them..everytime i re surfaced the head and still blew them..
It wasnt till i did both,re surface head and block that it sealed fine w/o any problems... Also ARP head studs will help in sealing better
