looking for new tires for my 92 si, i have 205/50R15 Winston TR's on the front ($54.98 ea.), but have inside wear on the rears and was recently in a bad rainy weather accident. basically, can anyon recommend some performance/rain treaded tires?

When i called firestone today, they were pushing me to buy some bridgestones that would be $297 for 2... the guy said they were new, but that's kinda steep. is this what i'm looking at paying or a good pair of tires?

lol thats almost 150 a tire. Look at some michelins, they have some pretty good rain tires. probably not 150 a tire.

i checked http://www.tirerack.com and its about 90- 120 a tire depending on size and keep in mind this is an all weather tire, best wet traction you can get. i would suspect these would not be your street racing tires, lol.

anyway the best rain tires i know of are either the Goodyear F1 GSd3's or the BFG TA KDW. and both are very good in the dry as well.

these are great rain tires, and very affordable
