Default Questions about Vtec after dyno tune

Hi guys, I've done the dyno tune last thursday on my H22A Accord, and the tuner help me tune down the Vtec to 4500rpm.
After everything's done, I can hear the vtec kick in at 4500rpm, however, until the car go up to 5000rpm(stock setting), I finally can feel the vtec is pulling.
I was just wondering do they need to input more fuel or air if they tune down the vtec, or everyone have the same result after dyno tune? If so, there's actually no point to have vtec down tune. Am I right?

the stock cam profile will most likely not make the same kind of power as the vtec cam profile, regardless of how you change the air/fuel ratio. if anything, turn it on at 5200, you'll feel much more of a kick.

the tunner should tune one cam separetly from the other and then see where the curves intersect and that should be your VTEC crossover.
I'm not completely sure, but if the VTEC is well set up it shouldnt be felt that much, if at all, if you feel it like a jump then i'm thinking it's not set for the right RPM crossover. Just my $.02

Yup, jus tlike he said, 1 run on low profile, 1 run on high profile, crossover where the powerbands crossover. If your h22 is stock as far as cams and such go the stock crosover is pretty good. You'll need to tweak it once you get into cams.

I remember your post in the Prelude forum.

IMO, 4500 is too low for your build since you are using stock cams. You may or may not need some fuel tuning after lowering VTEC; I know most people drop it a few hundred RPM's and they don't touch the fuel and they're fine.

Your tuner should have checked the a/f graphs, though, when tuning to determine if there needed to be fuel added or removed.

Post some dyno graphs before we start flaming your tuner's suckiness.

wow that looks like crap, what's the baseline look like? that flat spot really needs some work (was this the best they could do after 15 passes!?)...if you have any of the other plots post them...

They said that is the best they can do. I think it has some problems too, but I just can't figure it out.
BTW, my car is auto but manuel. Would that make any different?

dude i know a 15 year old that can do better than that

that graph looks like total horse crap...your af ratio chart is too erratic and your VTEC crossover is set WAYY to low....also you are running a little too rich for my taste in 5000rpm and below

Every one said 148 WHP for H22A is too weak. Any ideas?

Also,
Both tune shops are located in MN.
Any one have experience/heard about them?

1.Propolsion
2.Elite

Thanks.
