Default h22 in 4th gen accord - Tranny question

how do you guys deal with the tranny, arent the accords cable trannies? and i know the h22's are hydraulic, so can you somehow make that work or will the accord tranny bolt up to the h22?

WTF...

no one evers tells anyone or even SHOWS THEM that you have to tap the tranny if your gonna use the h22/h23 tranny in the cords''

there you go, that's my DIY for you..

i found out the hard way that it's a 2 step thing.. basically u need to drill the hole to size and then w/ the TAPPING BIT tap it (thread it)... What i did was just get the right size TAP and i started to TAP, but it wasnt working. The tap wasing threading the hole like it was suppose too... so i Jetted up to my hardware store (after consulting w/ will and ed) and explained to him what i was trying to do.. he told me that tapping is a 2step process.. basically u have to drill the hole to specs then TAP it (thread the hole u made) so basically u will need the tap that i stated above.. 10mmX1.25mm i proved a pic of the

it's a 11/32 size drill bit Bigger pic of the drill bit ... so 1st u need to drill the hole w/ the 11/32.. make sure u get all the scrap that get's left in the hole.. then insert the tap and slowing turn it! go in bout 1/4 of the way.. take it out and blow all the scarp metal out the hole.. repeat this till u get down far enuff so that u can screw that screw in .. .. hope this helps..

f22 tranny will bolt up to a h22a motor, and vise versa.. but if your gonna run a h22a motor w/ h22a or h23 tranny in an accord 90-93 then you need to tap the h22/23 tranny as i stated above
