Default 98+ DC2 front Bumper Question

Hey, I am considering taking the "A" emblem off of my front bumper, in an attempt to clean up the look. Is this emblem stuck to the car with adhesive, or will it leave a hole in the bumper cover? Does anyone have any pics off this?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Its not held on by adhesive, your going to have a hole. Hit up a body shop or just keep the emblem.

No problem.

Also, it says in your sig that your car was stolen. Did you retrieve it or did you buy another GSR?

I bought another, Its a black 98 DC2. I love it, its pretty much stock right now, Ground Controls, and an AEM intake. I wish I had all of the stuff from my old GSR for this one. This new GSR feels pretty strong though, transmission is buttery smooth.

Nice, well goodluck with it and protect it. I don't want to see another GSR stolen from you.

What are your plans for it?

Thanks, me either, believe me. As of right now, I am thinkin basic, DC 4-1 ceramic, and Greddy Evo. The other GSR was all motor, so a little boost would make things interesting. Nothing to flashy though, thats what got the other one stolen. The first day I had this new one, I installed an alarm, so hopefully I will be able to keep this one.

If your going turbo then hold off on getting an exhaust right now. Because your going to want 3 inch piping. Make sure of your future plans before you guy things. If you want boost then that header is no good and you wasted that money you spent on it.

Set your plans and then go from there. If you want boost then either piece together a kit or buy a kit already together (greddy, revhard, etc). Search through the forced induction forum and make sure its something you want to do. You can always paint your front mount intercooler black for a sleeper look and to keep it away from theives. Just to let you know, an alarm isn't going to help too much, the best thing for your GSR is a garage. If not then take all the necessary precautions (read some of the threads on anti-theft devices and ideas, it'll help a lot).
