i just got a JL W6v2 sub and an PG 1200.1 amp... but i dont know anything about audio.. so how do i wiring it to my stock head unit for now? i heard you can just wire it to the rear speakers... any help would be grateful! thanks

DuMa...you'll need to get a speaker level to rca convertor. That can be installed behind the head unit or at the rear speakers...but you'll also need to run an ignition wire from the front to turn the amp on. I'd recommend doing all of this behind the stock player and run an rca cable from there to the rear....it'll save alot of time when you replace the stock player

 

did the amp come with a high level imput option and the wire for that then it is just a matter of wireing that to the rear speakers and u can hook up the remote wire to the winshild washer fues with a fues tap. that should do it.
