im abuot to buy a gsr throttle body from a person but im wondering if it matters from what year the car is? i have an 01 gsr motor so if the throttle body would come from an obd1 gsr, would it work on my motor?

 

16400-P72-A01 2000 gsr
16400-P72-A00 1995 gsr

part#'s are differant.
I am 99.99% sure it will work the only thing is that the map sensor is diff. i think
i would wait for 1 more person to confirm.

I know the obd1 has the fast idle valve connected to the bottom of the throttlebody, and the obd2 doesn't have one

 

so verdict is same obd as motor or it wont work?

 

well if that is the only thing differant. than just plug the holes like i did. you don't need it.

 

this might be a little off the subject but I was wondering if a LS throttle body would work on the gsr intake? Anyone? Thanks, Joe
