Default Gauge cluster question

ok lets say you bought a canadian gauge cluster and you have a usdm prelude. Can you swap odometers and still be able to work properly even though the canadian odometer is messured in KM/H and the usdm is messured in MPH. Will the milage still work properly? Does anyone know what I am talking about?

What year are you talking about is your lude? Also, if they are the same, the only problem is your converting the exact mileage to kilometer when on the road.

It is all plug and play for the 5th gens (us edition).

Helms manual is your friend.

I have a 5th gen. Would it work if I take my odometer out of my old cluster since it has my vehicles correct milage and put it into a canadian cluster where there was the old odometer which read in KM. Will my old odometer from my usdm cluster work correctly in the canadian one? Also since the canadian one speedo is also in KM/H would it work if I used indiglo faces to put over those but the indiglos read in MPH? Would it still be the same? Could it work?

Based on what you are talking about, i'd use the white face gauges on it.

Period.

I dont think you can remove just the Speedometer part of the cluster if you can then go for it it should work. As far as the gauges you would have to convert the KM to M and see if the needle would line up. Most likely it will not.
