6.5 will fit but you have to be careful about the speaker depth, if its too deep it will interere with the window. Check on crutchfield for fitment.

Is it true that there is prewiring for rear speakers in the hatch?

i put 6.5 in my hatch doors and they were too deep but all i had to do was modify the little cup thing they sit in plus i bent them a little but its cool cuz they still work perfectly.

i just picked up some pioneer TS-A1670R's at bestbuy because i had some giftcards. i got them because the 4-way model was 220w and my deck is 200 . i didnt want to get an amp , so i just got these ones. they are only 1 3/4" thick , so hopefully they'll fit. im gonna install them tomorrow.

FYI if your deck is 200, that means it's 50x4 "max" power. In reality it's pushing 10-20watts to each speaker. just so you know

RMS handing is all that really matters... If you're using only deck power, get the best speaker with the lowest RMS rating and highest sensitivity.

speakers fit perfect. it gotta make a little adapter so the screws line up, but they dont hit the window at all.

1 7/8" is the depth if I member correctly, but spacers can allow you to have deeper speakers, but then you have to worry about stock grille clearance also.<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Bishop4G &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">

yah right under that cover you should see a pair of hookups for both sides...extend wires to speaker and boom there ya go
