I used to be on Neuspeeds... loved them.. but wanted to go with an adjustible stance so i got coil overs... first set i got was horible... but then again i got them for free... dont ever get apc coil overs, things will break your teeth... spoke to a shop near my home and they suggested a set of coil overs by DNA.. never heard of them but these guys are really good friends of mine so they wouldnt do me wrong... they said the ride is just a tad stiffer than GCs, but still a comfortable ride... plus they were only 100 bucks... got them.. LOVE them.. ride is great, still handles great... I would suggest these to anyone wanting to lower thier car on a budget.
you asked about good shocks and struts. if your goin to go that route good shocks/struts would be koni reds are really good and affordable. koni yellows are jus pimpin it. and ive heard a lot of good things about tociko shocks and struts as well
i have had two itr's and used neuspeed on both, sports on my 98, and race on my y2k....

I'm riding on KYB GR-2's and i-TECH adjustable coilovers... although the coilovers aren't name brand they ride really nice with the shocks. They are KYB's base model, no adjustability and stuff but I see an improvement in the ride. The KYB's were $80 each and the coilovers were $150 for the set.
For springs I recommend Progress, 350f 250r , excellent ride, 2.25 drop all around. Had them on my car since my car had 25 miles (25, not 25k
), took them off at around 30,000, and the stock shocks were fine.

Skunk2 coilovers made for a 88-00 civic ride real nice on a teg, the teg spring rates are like 400f500r, so they ride stiff as hell, but the civic rates are around 300f400r, and theyre coilovers so you can adjust em to any height, id get the civic ones, if you want good ride quality, they fit perfect, if you want a bumpy as hell ride, get the teg ones.

Do NOT get H&R Sports. They drop your car way more than stated. I was dropped well over 2 inches. They are way too soft.
