Default Question: Just redid Brakes... Is it Suppose to be smoking???

Hey guys I just redid my brakes on my 93 lude.. Replaced the Pads and Rotors... After finishing I went and ran some arrands... When I got out I noticed that the brakes had some smoke coming from them, but not a lot... Is this suppose to happen right after you redo the pads and rotors???

Thanks In Advance

It's possible, if there's any kind of contamination that might have gottn on the rotors. But if it stops(the smoking) and the brakes work ok, I wouldn't worry about it.

you may be leaking brake fluid onto hte rotors and that could be the smoke
