Rear Windshield Wiper Removal???
Is it possible to have this thing taken off?? Is it something that has to be professionally done? If so how much $$ am I looking at? If not, how can I do it myself? the whole mechanism doesn't have to be removed, jus realleh the wiper......maybe even the little circular stump thingy if that's possible. Help, lol.
here's a link of a step by step guide, the hatch opens alot quicker without that big wiper motor

Thanks alot guys but I tried getting to the article and I would need to register to view it. I registered but it's telling me I need to give the site an hour to activate my account.
So could you possibly copy all the steps and post them here so I can get started right away?
This process will remove the motor along with the actual wiper right?

The following is an article on how to do the "rear window wiper delete" for a Generation 3 Integra. This article is very similar to Conrad Maranan's G2 Wiper delete article (and we even shared some steps/images), but there are a few minor differences, so we'll do this G3 project as a different submission
First off, let's start by going over the parts we'll need:
Honda Metal Black Plug (Honda P/N: 90301-SR3-000)
(Looking for a better plug? this member sells them)
Fender Washer 3/8" x 1.5" (Metal)
Fender Washer 3/8" x 1.5" (Neoprene Rubber)
Next, let's start by going over the tools we'll need:

10mm Socket Wrench or 10mm Closed/Open Ended Wrench
12mm Socket Wrench or 12mm Closed/Open Ended Wrench
Large Pliers
Philips Screw Driver
Flathead Screw Driver
Next up, we need to get at the assembly:
01 - Remove the outer cap by gently prying up on the bottom edge.
02 - Using a 12 mm wrench or equivalent, remove the nut holding the arm on

03 - Remove the rubber grommet.
04 - Using large pliers, remove the retaining nut and large metal retainer.

05 - Remove the interior panel located immediately behind the wiper assembly by using a flathead screw driver to pry.

06 - Unplug power to the wiper pump assembly.
07 - Using a 10mm wrench, remove the 3 bolts that hold the wiper pump assembly in place. As you may notice in the provided image, I opted to use a Philips screw driver to remove the 3rd bolt.

08 - Remove the wiper pump assembly. Here's a pic of everything we removed

09 - With the rubber fender washer now in place, you may now position the plug on the hole outside of the vehicle's rear window. The large rubber grommet (fat-side facing down) and metal fender washer need to be positioned opposite of the Honda metal plug. The backside of the metal plug should slide right into the opening of the grommet with minimal resistance. Tighten the screw-bolt using a Philips screw driver until you see the rubber grommet balloon slightly. Use sound judgement in the tightening of the screw-bolt.

10 - Reinstall the interior panel. Project is now complete

Do you have aol?? I had to open a hotmail account, because half of the email I was supposed to be getting through aol never showed up. I don't know what the problem is, but they need to get it fixed. That spam sure does show up though. I can send a email to both my aol and hotmail account, the hotmail shows up immediately. The aol, well, I'm not sure where it goes. But it sure isn't to my inbox.

Thanks man for the post of the steps and stuff but the pics aren't working!
Could you redo n find some kind of way to get the pics to show cuz am eager to get outside right now n start working, lol. Oh yeah, this will remove the motor AS WELL as the wiper right? And it won't leave a hole in the glass or anything where the wiper used to come from?
Thanks.

You don't need to buy anything for this delete!
You just have to remove the rear wiper/motor, and the little rubber grommet that's in that hole. The rubber piece is kinda tricky at first but keep working at it and it'll come out.
Then for a plug pop your hood and look on the firewall behind your battery. It's a little towards the bottom but you'll see a black plug in there. Pop it out and it fits perfect in that wiper hole out back.
You can use some silicon sealant around the plug in the hatch if it'll make you comfortable, but I never did and my car's been safe through many rain trips.
Pop out the plug from your firewall, clean it up, put it in the rear wiper hole, add some armor all so you can bling, and look at how pretty and clean it looks out back now.

i stopped using aol eons ago.
my current ISP has personal settings you can make, and i made sure that @team-integra.net was allowed, still nothing.
for lazy administrators--i gave them 3 different email addresses, including my official air force (@offutt.af.mil) address. nothing still.

That plus sticks out of the hole, I think. It's not as flush as the firewall one. And why would you want to spend the extra money on something so worthless?
