Is it possible to have this thing taken off?? Is it something that has to be professionally done? If so how much $$ am I looking at? If not, how can I do it myself? the whole mechanism doesn't have to be removed, jus realleh the wiper......maybe even the little circular stump thingy if that's possible. Help, lol.

it ispossible, take the panel off that covers the inside of the hatch, everything is easy to take off, just get that panel off. i think it just unclips, but be careful...dont snap the panel...
