dilema.. what should i do?
i'm not sure what to do.. for a couple of months now i have been gatherin parts for my 95gsr, so far i have my ctr cams, vafc, spoon headgasket, skunk2 cam gears, itr valvetrain, skunk2 intake manifold, valve seals...... last night i spent the nite at my friends house, unfornutly i left my car outside(no garage).. i walk out to see that someone decided it would be nice to **** with my passenger door... about the size of 50 cent pieces it looks like someone threw 2 rocks at my car... they are about an inch apart, and it's down to the bone metal.. the paint is chipping and pealing right off...
now i have some pretty damn bad highway scratches... i did want to get them painted but i was holding off... i've had my license for only 2 weeks, workin on performance doesn't sound too good right now,
with tickets...
so should i just sell my parts and just do like a 98+ bumper conversion, itr lip, cf hood and just get a frotn end respray?? what do you guys think?? thanks

its up to you what you wanna do.....but since you've been gathering all those parts up, id (A) just make it so where the damage is, it wont rust.....then maybe put the parts on and then later figure out what you wanna do w/the exterior.... or (B)unless the damage is really buggin you....then fix that and do your exterior project first and then hold off on the performance parts until later........id maybe do (B) since you're saying that "workin on performance doesn't sound too good right now, with tickets..."
If your going to be gobbling up tickets then sell the mods and make better decisions.
Its basically up to what you want. I mean you could easily keep all those mods and just save up money to paint, etc and then you'd have both. Or you could sell the mods to do the paint and then buy those mods back later on. Or you could just keep the stealth/sleeper front end and just continue to mod the car, and once you get enough money saved buy a 98 front end conversion (front bumper, headlights, corner lights)...around $400-500 give or take. Then paint of course....
its your call.
