Camera Body: Canon 10D Digital SLR
Camera Lense: Canon 24-70mm F/2.8L USM

This image was taken without a tripod. Thus the images appears out of focus. Just demonstrating the ability of the lense to focus under low lighting conditions.

Demonstrating the Lense's ability to focus with low lighting and with tripod.

These were on the tripod.

Hope you all enjoy. That was my first outing with the camera. I just need to get more use to it.

I moved from the Digital Rebel. And to be quite honest, it is very, very capable. The best bang for the buck if you want to say. The only true downside of the camera is the stock lense. Yes it more than meets the requirements of today's average use, but put a nicer lense on there and you have one killer setup.

I have a ton more pictures with the Digital Rebel, but I can not upload any because my hard drive needs to be hooked up.

Wow, amazing. But I guess it should be for the money you pay on all that high quality equipment
.
I only have a 1.3MP DSC-S30. It's a sucky camera that I've had since it just come out. I'm pretty surprised in the similarity of quality against you guys with the badass cameras (I just resize and sharpen):

I just can't take large pictures, but it works.

The body cost $1,499 and the Lens cost $1,299.
Those 1.3MP looks good. But you got to keep in mind that my pics are resized and compressed. In raw format with no compression, or .tif you can really see the difference. But for the majority, normal 1+ megapixel cameras are perfectly fine.

As far as the quality they look awesome, but 3K for a camera

This is because I shot in low lighting conditions. The pictures are untouched using auto white balance. I'm able to set color temperatures manually, but these were first shots of it. I noticed the Red being a little weird too. Even though red and green is my most deficient color. I'm partially color blind with red a green.

Not bitching
.....not bad for an auto white balance
. And I know the more you get used to a camera you know what it is capable of, I personally cannot wait
