help my 92 accord is freaking
I don't know what's goin on, after I drive it for about 30mins+ the RPM's just start jumping all over and it's even hit 0 and killed it... then I have to wait a sec and start it, but when I do I have to rev it high to make sure it doesn't die again
Anyone have this happen??
Could it be the clutch or tranny? I heard maybe ECU?
thanks

Could be a problem with the ignition. Check your distributor, cap, rotor, ignition timing. Also, your car had a recall for a weak distributor bearing that could fail.
There has been a problem with the fuel system on hondas, especially the first half of the Generation where the fuel system would heat up, and gasoline vapor would evolve, causing the car to not run right and stall. Most people who experienced this problem had their cars die right out though.
Definately something electrical. I've had similar problems because of my own fault. But first make sure your Alternator isn't dying or slipping. Yeah. Or like I said, I've had a similar problem with my car because I installed a tach on it. The tach was plugged into the distributor/ignition coil (cheapy) and a loose tip of wire kept making contact with another, my R.P.M.'s go haywire and the engine dies. So if you've recently done a recent mod that might be it. Hmmm...but I really think it might be your alternator, I know some people that their r.p.m. and gauges go crazy before the car dies.
Hope this helps
