Default Accord Fuel Pump Alternatives

I have a 1988 Honda Accord LXi that I'm trying to get back on the road after sitting for the past 3 years. It appears that I have a faulty fuel pump. The local dealer ship wants over $200 for a replacement and I have not been able to locate one anywhere else besides the slavage yard. A yard fuel pump may prove to be unreliable so I was wondering if anyone has a cheaper more reliable alternative. Is there something I can mod to fit or take the place of my existing pump. BTW, this pump is inside the tank.

have you checked ebay??? once in a while youll get lucky and find someone selling a 88 pump on there. Yahoo it, you might find some reliable companies that might have some in stock still, but most likely itll have to be a special order im guessing.
