whats with those $20 "performance" chips? do they actually work?
i was looking on ebay for anything and everything for my teg and i came across performance chips that only cost between $15-$25. i realized some of these chips were name brand like skunk2 and mugen and they said it can give you up to 20 HP. i dont believe it gives you that much but even if it gave you 1/4 that hp then id still be willing to shell out like $20 for it. does anyone have any knowledge on this subject or should i just be looking at hondata chips (which cost about 400) and not worry about those $20 chips on ebay...
if you dont know what im talking about, go on ebay and type in "integra performance chips" and they will come up

dont do it my wife bought one for her car and a month later she blew the fuse to the ignition in her car installed another one and a day later same thing happened took out fuse and havent had problem since dont do it
I got one before and it was a "Spoon" chip.
I did feel a lot of differences; however, from what I had heard about those chips from the pros, they just advanced the timing... and they are absolutely not safe..
