Default d16y8 head for b18?

Hey guys.. Im kind of new to honda engines.. Im trying to find a new head for my 90 Integra GS.. A friend has a d16y8 head that he said he would sell cheap if it would fit.. Neither of us know.. Could this work? If not, what heads would bolt onto my b18a1?

Thanks alot,
Craig

only heads that will fit are the ones from the b20, or b18a, or b18b. only b series dohc, non-vtec heads will bolt right up. the d series head will not work.

I was just looking at pics of both heads and comparing.. It looked like it would bolt up, but the d16 head had the oil guids slightely different.. Like it would bolt up, but would have less oil going to the cams, which I guessed would be alright since it was a SOHC..
Im just trying to figure out if the head will fit the block right now.. im not worried about the ecu or vtec or anything at this point..
thanks for the input,
Craig

With enough money, you can do anything. But it is cheaper to buy other LS head.
