get ready to spend a g...
ull need a lot of ****..better to start off with something beginner ish so u can figure out if you really like rc cars..
for a setup like that starting from scratch i would guestimate spending like a g for all new ****...and i wouldnt skimp...on anything...you are going to be traveling 50+ in 2 seconds and **** will break fast as the car will be traveling...you will be spending more time fixing broken parts than driving the car...
also the motors are not easy to tune and if you jack up one of those .21 2hp motors you are down the drain another 500 bucks or so....tuning is tough and precise....
maybe buy someone's used car to start with or a ready to run HPI gas car to get the hang of it..you will only be out like 400 bucks to get running and you will figure out if this is the hobby for you..

yeah. 1/10 or 1/8 scale on roads arent for begginers(dont know if you are or not) but they are bank$$$$ and with a top speed of 70 or 80 mph, its not exactly a toy. Those tires arent cheap and youll go through a set in a weekend. Fun hobby, i had to get out of it bc of the price.

my bro had a hpi proceed with a rb motor and a state tropper clocked it at 86mph. he also had serpent vector, impulse and impact. he had alot of rc nitros. the proceed was the baddest of them all. those cars are fun.
