Default Hydroplaned, need repair ideas

A few days ago I hydroplaned my gsr on rte 17 (NY) in light rain , going 60 (in a 65). Spun twice, and hit another car at low speed. The damage to my car is the front bumper/lip needs to be replaced. Any ideas/prices?

Also, to prevent this from happening again, if you have had good (or really bad) experiences with tires, please let me know whats a good or bad bet. I need high performance, good rain perfomance (i have snow tires for winter) and decent tread life.

Any help is very appreciated. Thank you

Yokohama AVS ES100's are pretty awesome in the rain. I got 35K+ out of my last set running -2.5 camber in front.

If you're talking about a jdm conversion. It will cost way more than just fixing your existing one.

If there's no frame damage, you can try and pick up a 98+ bumper from a junkyard and diy. Can't cost you more than $400, I wouldn't think.

If your insurance is paying for a front end to get replaced, and you have a good insurance company you should be able to pull off a jdm front end pretty easy I would think. To replace the front end is gonna be close to 3k if its a good body shop. I know the shop that I took mine to wants 1500 just for a side fender.
