followed haynes instructions to test the clip at the fuel pump, checked out ok..
followed haynes instructions to test the main relay, checked out ok..
hard wired the fuel pump to the battery for a couple seconds, fuel pump checked out ok..
i'm in the middle of doing searches to check on this, but thought i would throw it out just in case someone saw it and had a pointer or has been through this before..
thanks..

loosen the banjo bolt on the fuel rail & see if it get's pressure when you turn the key to the on pos.
be careful not to smoke or any thing when doing this also if you have a shop rag wrap it around the bolt/line cause fuel will spray everywhere.
it might be your fuel filter

fixed it.. it was the main relay..
i just ran the soldering iron around the solders to freshen them up, added a little solder to 2 of the contacts, and plugged it back in..
kapow.. i got fuel pump action..
