Hi! My friend is offering me his 1991 Civic CRX for $1500. A good value but I was wondering if I should consider it due to the fact that it's an automatic... Should I buy it and tear out the drivetrain? Or are there good mods for this car?

What other information do you need from me? I think it's a 1.5 L and therefore worthless, right? It has 127,000 miles. It has hail damage but I would want to turn it into a race car.

What I'm looking for is info on whether I can turbocharge it, and where a good resource exists to upgrade it.

you didnt put the mileage, body condition, mechanical condition or anything...this is why no one replied to you...
