Default major amatuer question

I'm starting to learn about turbos and how they work. I came across the subject off VAFC's and I can't get a straight answer on how they work. Someone that knows, fill me in.

it can control the amount of fuel dumped into the cylinders by sending signals to the ecu, i think some work off of vacuum pressure. amount of extra fuel supplied can be limited depending on your setup.

The jist of it is just voltage regulation to the MAP sensor to correct fuel enrichment. That and change the VTEC RPM point. Main points covered.
